S-lon Lanka Private Limited, under the ‘Gamai Pansalai’ initiative renovated and painted the sacred shrines belonging to the Shri Jinendrarama Rajamaha Viharaya in Kawdulla and the Sri Purwaramaya Temple in Gomarankadawala, Trincomalee.
The project was held on the 27th and 28th of June, 2020 with the participation of Mr Chamara Lokupothagamage, General Manager, S-lon Lanka Private Limited and Mr Sajith Ratnayake, Channel Head, Sirasa FM among other company officials.
The project also included the Thurukapakaru Tree planting program where trees were planted within the vicinity of the Temples by Daham Pasala students. The students have been tasked with the responsibility of taking care of the trees at the respective Temples.
‘Gamai Pansalai’ is a CSR initiative by S-lon Private Limited in collaboration with Sirasa FM, aimed at renovating temples and sacred shrines in rural areas across the island whilst enhancing the spiritual well-being within the respective communities.
