S-lon Lanka (Pvt) Ltd joined hands with News 1^st to bring alive the making of traditional Avurudu Sweetmeats at the Avurudu Celebrations at Nikawaratiya, Kurunegala. A specially designed stall showcased live cooking sessions of Avurudu sweetmeats where a large number of visitors gathered to witness the traditional manner in which these sweetmeats are made. A recipe booklet with the most popular Avurudu Kevili was distributed free to all those who attended this event. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. S.C.
